Who we are

This website (traviart.com) is operated by [OPERATOR NAME — e.g. Roland Till, sole trader / company name], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], Hungary. Registration no.: [REGISTRATION NO.] · Tax no.: [TAX NO.] Email: info@traviart.com · Phone: +36 30 625 1189

What data we collect

When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we receive the information you enter: your name, email address, nationality (optional), the journey you are interested in (optional) and your message.

We use this information only to answer your enquiry, to arrange and carry out a tour if you book one, and — if a tour is agreed — to meet our accounting obligations.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and the performance of that contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); for invoices, our legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

How the data travels and where it is stored

The form is sent to our web server, which forwards it by email to our mailbox. The website itself does not store your enquiry in a database. The emails are kept in our mailbox for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting booking, and then for no longer than [RETENTION PERIOD — e.g. 2 years], unless the law requires longer (e.g. accounting records).

Hosting and email: Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus.

We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

Cookies

The website itself works without cookies. Fonts and all other files are served from our own server.

Google Analytics — only with your consent. If you click Accept in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit the site, how they find it and which pages they read. Google Analytics then sets cookies in your browser (_ga and _ga_C0496YG8H8, stored for up to 2 years). Google receives technical data such as the pages viewed, your browser and device type, an approximate location (country/city) and your shortened IP address. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising.

Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Analytics data is kept for [14 MONTHS — check the Google Analytics data retention setting].

Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you click Decline, nothing is loaded from Google. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Your choice itself is remembered in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie), so we don’t have to ask again on every page.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, or restriction of its processing, and you can object to processing or ask for data portability. Write to info@traviart.com.

If you think we have handled your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11, www.naih.hu.
